Leading BTF and working in translation
Kyle is BTF’s Founder and Executive Director. He and Hannah live near Cape Town, South Africa. Kyle leads BTF, mentors and trains people who are serving (or want to pursue a vocation) in Bible translation, serves various translation teams with exegetical support and translation checking, and is engaged in research, writing, and teaching on topics related to Bible translation. He desires, prays, and labors to see more more orthodox church leaders equipped to serve on Bible translation teams so that translations are produced by churches and for churches.
Kyle has a BA in Philosophy and Organizational Leadership, a MA in Bible Translation, a MA in Biblical Counseling, a MDiv focused on the biblical languages, and a ThM in New Testament. Hannah has extensive training and experience in biblical counseling, discipling, teaching women how to study Scripture, and serves as a small group leader with the women’s Simeon Trust workshops. She is a Registered Nurse and is also certified with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors.
