Ken Turnbull

ADVISORY BOARD MEMBER

Dr. Turnbull is married to Lisa with five children. He is a member of Lusaka Baptist Church in Lusaka, Zambia. Ken was initially sent out as a missionary to do church planting work in Mozambique with New Tribes Mission (NTM). 

After serving 6 years with NTM, Ken moved to serve full time with an organization that he began formulating in 2007. This organization became African Christian University (ACU) where Dr. Turnbull currently serves as Vice-Chancellor.

Through his experiences in missionary work, pastoral ministry, education, Dr. Turnbull strongly empathizes with the need for theologically well-trained men to do the work of Bible translation. He hopes to assist BTF for this same purpose.
